Strategy · AI Adoption · Organizational Readiness

Institutions adopt AI. People carry it.

Summer Studios 88 advises public agencies, health systems, foundations, and growth companies on technology adoption that the workforce can actually absorb — and on the wellbeing, governance, and communication that decide whether it holds.

The premise

Transformation fails on culture and process long before it fails on technology.

An organization rarely struggles with AI because the model is wrong. It struggles because nobody told staff what happens to their jobs, because the policy was written after the pilot shipped, because the people asked to change were the last consulted.

We came up inside public education, health services operations, and nonprofit administration before advising from outside them. That order shapes the work: strategy that accounts for the humans who have to carry it, sequenced so the first thing you ship is also the thing that earns internal confidence.

How we engage

Four ways to bring this in.

Scope determines fee. We publish the shape of the engagement, not the price — because a three-month assessment and a nine-month program are not the same purchase.

How clients describe the work

In their words.

Several engagements sit under confidentiality agreements. Named references with contract detail are provided to institutional buyers on request.

This is the most useful document I have ever received from an outside consultant. We are going to operate from this for the next year.

Executive director, mission-driven organization
Following delivery of strategy and positioning work

She does not just hand you a plan. She makes you see your business the way you should have been seeing it the whole time.

Founder, independent retail brand
End of go-to-market engagement

Every meeting after this one was easier, because we finally had the same words for what we were building.

Co-founder, early-stage technology company
After positioning workshop

The framework she built has paid for itself five times over in clarity alone.

Director, growth-stage brand
Six months post-engagement

Tell us what you are trying to change, and who it lands on.

That is usually enough to know whether there is a fit. Solicitations, teaming enquiries, and scoping conversations all start the same way.
